Irna, thank you very much for your kind offer but I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself in front of your neighbours by honking or shouting. HEHE… Yup, I passed at the 4th time because my 1st 3 attempts were not that good and I was over confident till I made silly mistakes. But no worries Irna, I am not a out of control driver so, rest assured your 1st journey with me would be fine. :p

28th November 2007: The last day of class for my foundation studies in UTAR and this gives me approximately 1 week plus before my semester exams and another 1 more month before leaving for Kampar. After that, we headed to Asia Jaya Supermarket for lunch. We had Korean food but I can’t remember what is the name of the restaurant (It’s located next to the Laksa Shack?). The food was quite good and it was reasonably priced with fine service.

Chew Yen and Wan Wei

Wan Theng (Another HSM fan) and Tracy

Jia Ling (The Black Horse in class - She's extremely smart) and Siew Yen

Theng with her birthday present (Know what is it?)

My lunch... :p

Okay, that’s pretty much all for today, will be busy preparing for the finals in the following week so updates will depend on Irna. Okay, have a nice day everyone.

Addition:
Irna: I wish you all the best for your school function on Thursday. Hard work will pay off sooner or later. :p

Wan Theng: Happy 19th Birthday. I wish you a life filled with love and happiness.

As your best friend,
I wont go grab and turn your steering wheel while you are driving that will cause us to almost bang into a tree like what you did to me last time.

As your best friend,
I wont grab the safety belt and dashboard tightly in my grasp and keep fidgeting nervously in my seat while you were driving that will bruise your ego in the driving department like what you did to me last time.

As your best friend,
I wont scream like a maniac asking to slow down while you were driving and cause major stress to you like what you did to me last time.

As your best friend,
I wont hesitate every time I was about to enter your car and pray silently under my breath for my safety while you were driving that will make you frown like what you did to me last time.

And last but not least,
I give you a right that you will TRULY enjoy now.

As your best friend,

~eeeee... lets hope I dont regret this~

I will allow you to hon like a mad donkey outside my house in the middle of the night and scream my name at the top of your lungs and cause my neighbours to come out from their house which total up to be a major embarrassment like what I did to you last time.

Erm, few times only right?
2, 3, 4... lets stop there.

P/S :
Really really happy for you!!
Hope you have a smooth sailing driving experience in the future..
And faster la go collect your P.
Its my turn to laugh at you now.

Kampar Fishball Noodles? (WL)

Kampar? A small town located in the state of Perak.

I am not sure how many of you know about this place as it is rather isolated but UTAR’s main campus is over there so I will be shifting there early next year. It is not really far from Selangor but it’s not that near either.

Kim Leong really wants to go to Kampar but he will be going there a few years later I think. * There are lots of lakes there so, those who loves fishing, Kampar will be a great spot. Oh, if anyone suffers from depression, mental breakdown etc, you can also jump into the lake and take a swim. :p I don’t know how deep’s the lake but there are sure to be lots of leeches there.

Irna, we can check it out when you help me move in ok? I’ll tie a rope around you then you jump down and see how deep the lake is? :p

Kampar is definitely a fine place for a student to hang about with its serene environment. But if you’re looking for entertainment, Kampar’s out for now. The nearest cinema, shopping complex is in Ipoh. And you need to take around 45 minutes to reach there IF you are driving. If you’re taking the bus, er, I am not so sure myself, but there are no Rapid buses there so, your only option is the Blue/Red Omnibus.

What’s Kampar significant food? Kampar FISHBALL noodles… The rest, I’ll explore and tell you guys in the years to come.

Hmm… Basically, it’s less than 2 months before I leave. It is not that far compared to Ang Jian Wei who’s going to US next year or Chris Ho whose going somewhere abroad as well but still there’s a scratchy feeling inside of me. HAHA… Siah Ying Wei would say that it’s nothing as Kampar is still in Malaysia bla la bla but what do you expect from someone who has been dependent on her family for the last 18 years. :p

Imagine washing your own clothes, cooking, driving/cycling to school everyday. I do not know how to cycle… Er, let me re-phrase that. Actually, I can’t remember how to cycle since I stopped cycling after I came back from Kuching. And, thank goodness there’s this weekly house keeping thing so, I can forget about dusting etc. HEHE…

Okay, that’s all for now. 3 more weeks to semester exams so, I’ll be temporarily inactive as usual. Have a nice day everyone…

PS: No more jiwang-ing session for me in Kampar. But never mind, I shall jiwang with the fishes by the lake.

Just words. (Irna)

One word to describe it all.

R.E.L.I.E.V.E.

No more spending sleepless nights fighting to keep my heavy eye lids wide open.
No more unbearable Panic Attack in the wee hours in the morning upon realising that my brain isn't working as fast as I wished it to be.
No more experiencing the sharp stab of guilt for not being prepared earlier and resulted me being in such highly pressured situation.

Goodbye pressure cooker.
Goodbye excessive dose of caffeine.
Goodbye pure mental exhaustion.

(Well, at least goodbye for a week before having to start the ignition on again for the coming AS exams. But lets not go there yet will we?)

During the period after SPM and before I started college, I term them the stress-free boredom days.
I was bored to the extent of almost losing my sanity,
yet as stress-free as a newborn baby or an old woman who had a serious case of Alzheimer disease.

Now,
Gosh I cant even think of a word to describe it.
My brain was over-heated.
You could say I am practically living the days in cold sweat.
I am amazed with how fatigue can hit you right to the core.
Mental and physical exhaustion had hit me bad...real bad.

Therefore I, Irna hereby vow,
Never again will I put myself in such unquestionably stupid life style.
Procrastination sucks the living hell out of me.

Shift to a stress-free topic.

8.45 pm, was redeeming back the times where I was online-deprived when Sarven called.
"Hey, wanna go out not? Now?"

Spent the next 2 minutes messaging few people online.
And 10 minutes later I was out of the house.
Sarven picked me up and we met up with Nic and Ying Wei at Tanjung.
Ahhh..
How I miss those good old crap session days.
Stress really took half of my life away so you have to pardon me for being so emo.

Practically the whole time they were raving about the Ramly burgers at USJ 4 until Nic couldnt take it anymore and decided to go there there and then.
By 10pm, 4 of us crashed in Nic's car and off we go to some awkward looking stalls situated rather un-strategically beside the road.

Recreating a second version of the jiwang session Nic and YW had the previous time they came here, we headed off by foot to the USJ 4 padang.

Imagine four people sitting on a bench in the middle of the field and light drizzle staring at a huge tree with the stars twinkling up in the dark sky and burgers in our hands.

Yes. Thats what we did.
Pathetic emo-ers.
But its a nice feeling.

Clock well ticking. (Irna)

Its 7.33 in the morning.

  • Having my chemistry semester exam in less than 4 hours.
  • Slept a total of 2.5 hours for the past 3 days.
  • Crammed 3 months worth of chemistry lectures in a span less than 12 hours.
  • Downed 5 cups (and counting) of my dose of caffeine in the past 24 hours.

My eyes are blurry.
My head is pounding.
My brain is disorientated.

Goodbye my future.

Tug-of-War?

Lick Hung’s Sports Day (I’m not very sure what event was that but it should be sports day, hehe…) was held yesterday at MPSJ. I was supposed to go and take pictures for my sis and her friends but how can someone who loves to sleep like me wake up 6 something in the morning when I don’t have class that day. Anyhow, I still need to go to MPSJ to pick her up (Walking, not driving since I haven’t passed my test yet, haiz…).

I managed to watch young kids participating in the game tug-of-war and it was so interesting to look at all these young kids pulling the rope. But the rope’s not the same as the one we used in SMK USJ 12, it was a thinner rope. My sis was the anchor for her team so; I being a busy body went down to the field and gave her “support”. Without realizing, I was embarrassing myself shouting at her team telling them what to do. I screamed and screamed like a mad chicken but thank goodness nobody know who am I. :p

I do not know the origins of the game but it is practiced in the World Games. And honestly, rope pulling is a very interesting game. If it’s not because I was rushing back for lunch, I would have stayed to participate in the adults’ category (Parents versus Teachers) match.

Ok, that’s all for now. Enjoy your day everyone… :p
