28/11/07 (WL)

Reply to the previous post:
Irna, thank you very much for your kind offer but I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself in front of your neighbours by honking or shouting. HEHE… Yup, I passed at the 4th time because my 1st 3 attempts were not that good and I was over confident till I made silly mistakes. But no worries Irna, I am not a out of control driver so, rest assured your 1st journey with me would be fine. :p

28th November 2007: The last day of class for my foundation studies in UTAR and this gives me approximately 1 week plus before my semester exams and another 1 more month before leaving for Kampar. After that, we headed to Asia Jaya Supermarket for lunch. We had Korean food but I can’t remember what is the name of the restaurant (It’s located next to the Laksa Shack?). The food was quite good and it was reasonably priced with fine service.

Chew Yen and Wan Wei

Wan Theng (Another HSM fan) and Tracy

Jia Ling (The Black Horse in class - She's extremely smart) and Siew Yen

Theng with her birthday present (Know what is it?)

My lunch... :p

Okay, that’s pretty much all for today, will be busy preparing for the finals in the following week so updates will depend on Irna. Okay, have a nice day everyone.

Addition:
Irna: I wish you all the best for your school function on Thursday. Hard work will pay off sooner or later. :p

Wan Theng: Happy 19th Birthday. I wish you a life filled with love and happiness.

As your best friend,
I wont go grab and turn your steering wheel while you are driving that will cause us to almost bang into a tree like what you did to me last time.

As your best friend,
I wont grab the safety belt and dashboard tightly in my grasp and keep fidgeting nervously in my seat while you were driving that will bruise your ego in the driving department like what you did to me last time.

As your best friend,
I wont scream like a maniac asking to slow down while you were driving and cause major stress to you like what you did to me last time.

As your best friend,
I wont hesitate every time I was about to enter your car and pray silently under my breath for my safety while you were driving that will make you frown like what you did to me last time.

And last but not least,
I give you a right that you will TRULY enjoy now.

As your best friend,

~eeeee... lets hope I dont regret this~

I will allow you to hon like a mad donkey outside my house in the middle of the night and scream my name at the top of your lungs and cause my neighbours to come out from their house which total up to be a major embarrassment like what I did to you last time.

Erm, few times only right?
2, 3, 4... lets stop there.

P/S :
Really really happy for you!!
Hope you have a smooth sailing driving experience in the future..
And faster la go collect your P.
Its my turn to laugh at you now.

Kampar Fishball Noodles? (WL)

Kampar? A small town located in the state of Perak.

I am not sure how many of you know about this place as it is rather isolated but UTAR’s main campus is over there so I will be shifting there early next year. It is not really far from Selangor but it’s not that near either.

Kim Leong really wants to go to Kampar but he will be going there a few years later I think. * There are lots of lakes there so, those who loves fishing, Kampar will be a great spot. Oh, if anyone suffers from depression, mental breakdown etc, you can also jump into the lake and take a swim. :p I don’t know how deep’s the lake but there are sure to be lots of leeches there.

Irna, we can check it out when you help me move in ok? I’ll tie a rope around you then you jump down and see how deep the lake is? :p

Kampar is definitely a fine place for a student to hang about with its serene environment. But if you’re looking for entertainment, Kampar’s out for now. The nearest cinema, shopping complex is in Ipoh. And you need to take around 45 minutes to reach there IF you are driving. If you’re taking the bus, er, I am not so sure myself, but there are no Rapid buses there so, your only option is the Blue/Red Omnibus.

What’s Kampar significant food? Kampar FISHBALL noodles… The rest, I’ll explore and tell you guys in the years to come.

Hmm… Basically, it’s less than 2 months before I leave. It is not that far compared to Ang Jian Wei who’s going to US next year or Chris Ho whose going somewhere abroad as well but still there’s a scratchy feeling inside of me. HAHA… Siah Ying Wei would say that it’s nothing as Kampar is still in Malaysia bla la bla but what do you expect from someone who has been dependent on her family for the last 18 years. :p

Imagine washing your own clothes, cooking, driving/cycling to school everyday. I do not know how to cycle… Er, let me re-phrase that. Actually, I can’t remember how to cycle since I stopped cycling after I came back from Kuching. And, thank goodness there’s this weekly house keeping thing so, I can forget about dusting etc. HEHE…

Okay, that’s all for now. 3 more weeks to semester exams so, I’ll be temporarily inactive as usual. Have a nice day everyone…

PS: No more jiwang-ing session for me in Kampar. But never mind, I shall jiwang with the fishes by the lake.

Just words. (Irna)

One word to describe it all.

R.E.L.I.E.V.E.

No more spending sleepless nights fighting to keep my heavy eye lids wide open.
No more unbearable Panic Attack in the wee hours in the morning upon realising that my brain isn't working as fast as I wished it to be.
No more experiencing the sharp stab of guilt for not being prepared earlier and resulted me being in such highly pressured situation.

Goodbye pressure cooker.
Goodbye excessive dose of caffeine.
Goodbye pure mental exhaustion.

(Well, at least goodbye for a week before having to start the ignition on again for the coming AS exams. But lets not go there yet will we?)

During the period after SPM and before I started college, I term them the stress-free boredom days.
I was bored to the extent of almost losing my sanity,
yet as stress-free as a newborn baby or an old woman who had a serious case of Alzheimer disease.

Now,
Gosh I cant even think of a word to describe it.
My brain was over-heated.
You could say I am practically living the days in cold sweat.
I am amazed with how fatigue can hit you right to the core.
Mental and physical exhaustion had hit me bad...real bad.

Therefore I, Irna hereby vow,
Never again will I put myself in such unquestionably stupid life style.
Procrastination sucks the living hell out of me.

Shift to a stress-free topic.

8.45 pm, was redeeming back the times where I was online-deprived when Sarven called.
"Hey, wanna go out not? Now?"

Spent the next 2 minutes messaging few people online.
And 10 minutes later I was out of the house.
Sarven picked me up and we met up with Nic and Ying Wei at Tanjung.
Ahhh..
How I miss those good old crap session days.
Stress really took half of my life away so you have to pardon me for being so emo.

Practically the whole time they were raving about the Ramly burgers at USJ 4 until Nic couldnt take it anymore and decided to go there there and then.
By 10pm, 4 of us crashed in Nic's car and off we go to some awkward looking stalls situated rather un-strategically beside the road.

Recreating a second version of the jiwang session Nic and YW had the previous time they came here, we headed off by foot to the USJ 4 padang.

Imagine four people sitting on a bench in the middle of the field and light drizzle staring at a huge tree with the stars twinkling up in the dark sky and burgers in our hands.

Yes. Thats what we did.
Pathetic emo-ers.
But its a nice feeling.

Clock well ticking. (Irna)

Its 7.33 in the morning.

  • Having my chemistry semester exam in less than 4 hours.
  • Slept a total of 2.5 hours for the past 3 days.
  • Crammed 3 months worth of chemistry lectures in a span less than 12 hours.
  • Downed 5 cups (and counting) of my dose of caffeine in the past 24 hours.

My eyes are blurry.
My head is pounding.
My brain is disorientated.

Goodbye my future.

Tug-of-War?

Lick Hung’s Sports Day (I’m not very sure what event was that but it should be sports day, hehe…) was held yesterday at MPSJ. I was supposed to go and take pictures for my sis and her friends but how can someone who loves to sleep like me wake up 6 something in the morning when I don’t have class that day. Anyhow, I still need to go to MPSJ to pick her up (Walking, not driving since I haven’t passed my test yet, haiz…).

I managed to watch young kids participating in the game tug-of-war and it was so interesting to look at all these young kids pulling the rope. But the rope’s not the same as the one we used in SMK USJ 12, it was a thinner rope. My sis was the anchor for her team so; I being a busy body went down to the field and gave her “support”. Without realizing, I was embarrassing myself shouting at her team telling them what to do. I screamed and screamed like a mad chicken but thank goodness nobody know who am I. :p

I do not know the origins of the game but it is practiced in the World Games. And honestly, rope pulling is a very interesting game. If it’s not because I was rushing back for lunch, I would have stayed to participate in the adults’ category (Parents versus Teachers) match.

Ok, that’s all for now. Enjoy your day everyone… :p

Prefect Tribute Night 07'

SMK USJ 12’s Prefect Tribute Night was held last Friday night at Holiday Villa and this year, for the first time in the history of the board, ex-seniors were invited back. I hope this practice will be carried on for the years to come.

OK, back to the dinner. Well, Sarven was supposed to pick Irna up around 6.30 pm then me and Nick but he was late as usual. So we reached Holiday Villa around 8? Never mind that, the three of us were expecting Sarven to be late so none of us bothered to get prepared early. As most of you would know, I’m not the expressive type of person like Irna so; I’ll keep this short and simple and move on to the pictures. :p

Groupie 1... (Picture courtesy of Nicholas)

Hehehe... We wallop most of the door gifts. I didn't know Irna stuffed so many in my bag.

(Irna : This picture is too retarded and too stuuuuuuuuupid to be published in public.
Though I tak tahu malu one but stillllllllll aiyoyo. Shy shy la WL.)

I have no idea when was this picture taken. :D But i would like to thank the photographer.. Hahahahahahaha... Please don't kill me Irna... :p I'll give you more chocolates next year...

Groupie 2

We're both straight!

Er... Irna's doing her usual stuff, being nutty... :p While Esther's trying to.. er... Haha, I've no idea what they're up to.

The camera man with the 2 mak cik's...

PS: The pictures are not in order and have not been edited because i am rushing to sleep... :p

Give me few more days then I will post again kay? (Irna)

2 more days then its a full month since I last posted.

I realised right, whenever I posted anything recently (well, not really that recent), I always started off with how many days passed since any post appear under my name.
Well, the frequency of my post is really THAT bad so what else could I start off with?

Its not that I lazy la.
And its not because that I THAT busy also.
Also obviously its not that I have nothing to say. Please la, a person who's mouth could yak yak yak like a bullet train all the time definitely has something to say one.

Its just....plain distracted.
=P

But I cant be blame kay?
At my very 1st post of this blog I already mention that my "hangat hangat tahi ayam" spirit is nothing to be taken lightly of ler.
As long as I come back its enough right?

Urghhh..
Life has been....urm...(cant think of the perfect word)....
.....
(still thinking)
......
......
......
Aiya.
I cant think of any word and I can't risk any short circuit in my brain.

Change to a slightly serious note.

Everything is moving at an extremeeeee fast pace for a slow poke like me.
With a blink of an eye its now at the end of October.

My semester exam is in 8 days more and I
am still staring at images of grasshopper's testis and rat's uterus and scratching my head wondering how the heck am I supposed to draw them.

My biology test is tomorrow and I am still here reading a message from Sarven asking me whether a certain girl is hot a not?

My life is already few steps ahead of me and I am still here strolling taking my own sweet time and not bothering to keep up.

Hmmm.. I also dont know what went wrong.

Damn you testis and uterus!

Long twindling post and pics up ahead.. (Irna)

La di da..

I am back...

from major stress breakdown.

Ahhhhh!!
I am so going to turn crazy!!

Eh, I think I already am lah.
How can you not to when you are in a class filled with stinking smart ass-es people!!
And when I mean smart ass-es, I really really REALLY meant it.

Hello, in my class itself, there are 3 of them who scored straight 11 A1s for SPM!!
A1s!!
Not some cipalang A but its A1!!

Its like, having 3 Jian Wei or Chris (minus the siau-ness) in my class except that they have an extra A1.
Or...Yee Chinn.
And lets not mention the number of people who scored more than 8A1s will we?

O levels pula,
In a nearby international school, there are 4 people in the whole school who scored straight As.

And,

3 of them are in my class. +_+

Can cry a not u tell me!!
And to add more bruises to my ego, the ages of the ex-O levels student are between the range of 14 and 16.
We just sang Happy 14th Birthday few days ago.

14 years old.. (14!!!!)
Heck, I could hardly remember how was I at that age.
It seems like a decade ago man..

I was in Form 2 right?
Still playing shoot shoot glue with some monkeys.
Still drawing a leaf which look like a terbantut tree in Pn Suhailah's art class.
Still feeling excited that we write with pen in classes. (primary school use pencil ma).
Still buying tons of useless eraser just because it is the shape of an apple or some aromatic pen or some note pads that has a cartoon cover.
Still...haiyo!! Still having a dumb brain la!! (no offence to any 14 year olds)

And now, 14 year olds are studying A levels!!
WHAT HAD HAPPEN TO THE WORLD?!?!

Ish ish..
Change topic change topic!!

My elder sis came back a fews days ago from S'pore.
Got a little break so come back lor.
Miss me the oh so wonderful sister what. (I can imagine u : "please la!" right now)
Kakaka..

In my sesat dictionary, if u go visit anybody at anywhere, u need to bring gifts.
Even if its to your own home, lagi need what..

Cos I'll be waiting there!!
So here goes..

She came back in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Family was awake waiting for her.
(Minus me. Did I mention that it was in the weeeeeee hours in the morning.
Its my bedtime what.)

My younger sis woke me up when she came back.
Say got some stuff for me.
But sorry la.
Once I'm in slumberland it is nearly impossible for me to get out of it.

Surprisingly, I was awake by 8 in the morning.
Bangga bangga..
The whole family is still asleep when I woke up so its like waking up to total silence.
Hmmm.. Not nice la.
Cos nobody come layan me.

So poor unwanted and rejected me went and start digging at her bag.

What she got for me,

To compensate the "departure" of my previous thumb drive.

Cute.
Its the same size at the previous one, 1GB.
But its more than enough la for me.

To make me go 'huh?'.

When I saw this thing, I though its just another thumbdrive.
But then I see see, eh, why side got hole one??
(I confess, I am THAT jakun)
But I couldnt be much bothered to find out so I start digging around again.

My mum said its a card-reader-forgotten-what-she-said thingy. Then begun to explain some foreign thing bout it which unfortunately didnt stay long in my memory. Haiyo, for me, its the same function as thumb drive. Only this is a weird looking one with a card sticking out of it.

True right?

The moment I saw all this stuff, the 1st thing I wanted to see is what is the colour that they emit out.
So...

Ceh..
All yellow only.
How come they dont make it blue? Or green? Or red also okay la..
Then it'll be colourful lights blinking!!

Reminder to study study study!!

And jakun me again saw the cutest thing!!

Just normal black pen and yellow highlighter ya?
But then when u go turned their "butt",

Hahahahahahaha!!
So cute one!!
Its the post-it-tape-flag stuff that u paste at the sides of your books.
I like it!!

Is it me or am I the only one who found it amusing?
I went and :"hey, see, Magic!!" but nobody seems to be bothered.
I still find it nice though..

To satisfy my sweet tooth.

Four big packets of assorted marshmallow.
I like!!

I'll keep the best for the last so for now let me post the birthday present my sis got for my younger sis.

For younger sis's 16th Birthday.

Hmmm..
Another cry cry every episode korean drama (Green Rose).
I'm definitely not a fan.

And this watch.
I am not a watch person as I hate stuff hanging around my hand so i dont really have much comment bout it.

I didnt give her any bday present because personally from the very bottom of my heart, I find that having ME, IRNA as your sister is the best birthday present you can ever have in your whole entire life.
Kakaka..

At last, the moment I have been waiting for..
.
.
.
.
.
the best gift you can ever give me (erm..apart from a chocolates, Nissan X-Trail, Hyundai Rexton, Honda CRV, well, u get my point)
.
.
.
.
.
the best invention in the history of mankind
.
.
.
.
drum rolls please..
.
.
.
.
.
TADA!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I LOVE IT I LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!
Dont know what it is??
Scroll down la.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Its a HANDY CAP WITH FAN!!!

(The box said one)

I am dead serious about how much I love it!!
The moment I saw it, I tear it out from it's package and start barging into every room waking everyone up to see my new treasure!!

There is a history behind this gift one.
Once upon a time, my mum and I went somewhere to get something (memory lapse). And there's when I 1st saw it. But then my mum wont buy it for me because its 'nonsense' and 'unpractical'.
Ceh..

Then fast forward to the future,
at S'pore,
while waiting for my dad,
I saw this lady,
sitting,
with the bloody electric fan at her hand!!

Wah!!
I made a big fuss out of it to my family!!
Jealous ma!!

But then tak sangka my sis remember ya?
So happy..

Nah..
I post your pic.
Love you!!!

Thank You (Wei Ling)

Hmm… Happy Belated Independence Day… Hope I’m not too late. ;p

Since in the past, it has been a norm in many societies to celebrate a person’s birthday. And today, I’m officially 18. In most legal systems, one becomes a LEGAL adult particularly on their 18th or 21st birthday and these young adults gain certain right and privileges.

For me, turning 18 means being able to watch those movies rated for those above 18 and pretty much that’s all. Since, I don’t smoke and don’t intend to smoke, so the right to purchase tobacco is nothing particular to me. I’m legal to drive since 17 but I took my own sweet time and drag and drag my driving lessons till this year and I still can’t drive. Well, I FAILED my road test TWICE so; hopefully I pass during the 3rd time. Okay, we can skip the part about how I fail and all…

Okay, back to this post. This post is dedicated to my family members and a group of good friends particularly whom put in a great deal of effort for my 18th birthday.

First, thank you Irna for her “willingness” and enthusiasm to shout “Happy Birthday” outside my house causing most of my neighbours to wonder what’s was going on. And not to forget, thanks for the previous birthday dedication post. Irna, your effort is most appreciated, thanks.

Second, thank you TA9 and a group of university friends. The cake was good, the present was perfect and I loved the card you made. WW, SY, WT and Tracy: thanks for lunch, additional birthday card and the ‘Vincent’ song. :p

Third, thank you Sarven for the rides home and so forth. Though your driving is pretty much as scary as Irna’s but it was fun with the ‘3 monkeys’ shouting at the back. Hopefully you did not get scolding for getting back late. And I shall await the gift which is still in process. :p

Well, pictures are worth a thousand words so, I’ll let it do the talking for me.

30th August: Pictures are taken by Jonathan using Wan Wei's hp camera...
Part of my tutorial group and my mass communication lecturer, Miss Mary

31st August:

Japanese Style Dinner at my aunt's house

Haha, the 2 cakes... One from Alexis and the other from Secret Recipe... Love both of it..

Forgive me for the clarity of this image

1st September: Happy Birthday Mrs. Jill Ee...

2nd September:

Sarven's driving as usual

Chicken + Tomyam..

Lastly, I won’t be posting for a month’s time as I’ll be having my final exams for semester 2 next week. :p But i trust that Irna will keep the blog alive. Till then, have a nice day everyone. Adieu...

You are only young once, but you can be immature for a lifetime. (Irna)

AH SAM TURNS 18 TODAY!!!

Muahahahaha..
This girl whom I've met since the age of 14 now turned old already!!
Not that its a bad thing.
Its a good thing of course...I am that age as well. So definitely good thing bah.

Actually right,
I am kinda lost at what to say you know?
Cos the part that I am dying to say will be, "You have to start acting your age!!"
But I cant say that this time.
Cos you DO act your age.
.
.
.
.
My goodness, you really do man.
How come?

Gosh now you make me felt stupid.
Cos that line is what people kept telling me on my birthday!!
Sesat.

Kay la kay la, since its your b'day, I will talk only good good things ya.
Ehem ehem..

If we cut her open and dig her heart out, i wouldn't be surprise to see if its made out of a flaming rock.
As burning as fire, as hard as a rock.
Seriously.
To those of you who were in 2 Quantum (2003) and 3 Browser (2004), I think you will know what I mean.
Never a day will pass without her erupting and let me I tell you,
she sure ain't a nice little volcano.
Her blood can rise from 37 to 100 degrees within less than 5 seconds man. Dont play play.
The only, ONLY time I've seen the "emo" side of her was when she cried during sec 3.

Eh, more like shedding a tear then ~poof~ the serious face is back.
And for what you know a not??
Cos she did a careless mistake for her BM exam.
+_+
I can never understand the power of loving a language.

5 years later,
She's an angel.

Erm...no la.
But you get what I mean.
Though now still show black face once in a while, the volcano never erupt one.
Its what you called that, gunung berapi tak aktif??
My geography sucks la.
What crap is it?
Gunung berapi tak aktif right? Meaning volcano that is still alive but wont erupt d one?
Aiyah, u get what I mean right?

Now, crying everyday watching korean drama.
No joke.
Thats why I got THIS and THIS for her birthday present what.

Now can let her cry up all the tears she've been so stingy off for the past few years la.
As I kept telling her, tears is free la wei! And I sure am generous in it.

So Wei Ling ar..
Today 18 years old already.
Soon you will be 81.
With not a single tooth left in your mouth.
Sitting on a rocking chair.
Outside the porch of your house.
Listening to the crick crick crick your chair made.
But dont feel lonely.
.
.
.
Cos I am sitting right next to you with my dentures on eating my chocolates.

Muahahahaha..
I'm such a good friend ya?
I know I know.

P/S : Birthdays are good for you, you know. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.
